Ø Gender Reforms Action Plan (GRAP) project was launched during the fiscal year 2005-06 with a cost of Rs.608 million which covers the reforms agenda with regard to women welfare.
Ø Setting up of Protection Houses (Dar-ul-Aman) at a cost of Rs.92.400 million in the remaining 26 district of Punjab.
Ø Establishment of 20 economic, social and rehabilitation centers in 20 jails of Punjab for women and children at a cost of Rs.31 million.
Ø Construction of houses and shelters for the women in Bahawalpur and Sargodha at a cost of Rs.21.653 million.
Ø Construction of District Industrial Centers (Sanat Zars) in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Okara at a cost of Rs.29.20 million.
Ø Construction of buildings for Shelter Homes in Lahore at a cost of Rs.8.900 million.
FOREIGN FUNDING
Ø Setting up of non-formal basic education centers for rural women in Punjab.
Ø Financial Assistance of World Bank for Voicing of Poor project.
Ø Setting up of Women Political School with the financial assistance of UNDP.
Ø Improvement of Dar-ul-Amans in Multan and Sargodha with the financial assistance of GTZ and NGO of Germany.
Ø Professional training of the staff of Dar-ul-Aman with the financial assistance of NGO of France, MDM.
Ø Strengthening of District Care Group under General Equality Project of UNDP.
