  • Establishment of Faisalabad Industrial City at Sahianwala Interchange at Pindi Bhattian – Faisalabad Motorway over an area of 3365 acres.

  • Facilitated establishment of 3 cement plants in District Chakwal with an investment of Rs. 30.00 billion on Chua Saidan Shah Road, Chakwal.

  • Pharmaceutical Research Lab is being established. Rs. 50 million released.

  • Business Sport Centre for Electrical Fitting (Bakelite, and Plastic) Industries at Sargodha.

  • SURVEY OF INDUSTRIES
  • Survey of Medium and Large Industries by Directorate of Industries has been conducted, Result has been compiled.
  • Survey of Household & Small Industries in Urban areas has been conducted by PSIC. Resulted has been compiled.
  • Survey of Household & Small Industries in Rural areas has been  conducted by PSIC.
  • INDUSTRIAL INSPECTIONS
  • Boiler Inspection has been discontinued.
  • Inspection by Labour Inspectors has been replaced with new system of self declaration.
  • Social Security Rules have been replaced by a new business.
  • A slab system for units employing upto 10 persons exempted from inspection for 3 years has been introduced.
  • Amendments in existing laws/rules new legislation for inspection are being made.
  • CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2005
  • Provincial Assembly has passed the Consumer Protection Act 2005, Consumer Courts and Consumer Councils have been established in various district of Punjab.
