- ESTABLISHMENT OF FAISALABAD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY (FIEDMC)
- FIEDMC led by the private sector to establish an Industrial Estate of international quality.
- Rs. 4.3 billion being provided as seed and loans for infrastructure development money as soft terms.
- Establishment of Faisalabad Industrial City at Sahianwala Interchange at Pindi Bhattian – Faisalabad Motorway over an area of 3365 acres.
- An investment of Rs. 1.0 trillion creating 1 million jobs opportunities expected.
- ESTABLISHMENT OF CEMENT PLANTS
- Facilitated establishment of 3 cement plants in District Chakwal with an investment of Rs. 30.00 billion on Chua Saidan Shah Road, Chakwal.
- PHARMACEUTICAL
- Pharmaceutical Research Lab is being established. Rs. 50 million released.
- PHASE II MULTAN INDSTRIAL ESTATE
- Phase-II Multan Indsutrial Estate Comprising 667 acres also transferred to PIEDMC Infrastructure is under development.
- VALUE ADDITION CITY
- Value Addition City over an area of 181 acres near Khurrianwala is being et up.
- UP GRADATION OF EXISTING SMALL INDUSTRIAL ESTATES (SIES)
- Missing facilities has been provided in 5 small industrial estates, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujjar Khan, Lahore-1.

- Enterprises Development Company is being established ot organize, develop and market the products of Cottage Industry to generate income and alleviate the poverty.
- CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
- Network of 50 Cluster Development Centres for Technology up gradation has been planned to be established with 3 years in a phased programme. Following 4 centres are under implementation.
- Product Development Centre for composite based material for Sports Goods, Sialkot.
- Wooden Furniture Common Facility Services Centres and Show Room at Chiniot.
- Business Sport Centre for Electrical Fitting (Bakelite, and Plastic) Industries at Sargodha.
- Support Centre for Development of Auto part, design, tools, dies and provision of testing facilities at Lahore, (completed)
- SURVEY OF INDUSTRIES
- Survey of Medium and Large Industries by Directorate of Industries has been conducted, Result has been compiled.
- Survey of Household & Small Industries in Urban areas has been conducted by PSIC. Resulted has been compiled.
- Survey of Household & Small Industries in Rural areas has been conducted by PSIC.
- INDUSTRIAL INSPECTIONS
- Boiler Inspection has been discontinued.
- Inspection by Labour Inspectors has been replaced with new system of self declaration.
- Social Security Rules have been replaced by a new business.
- A slab system for units employing upto 10 persons exempted from inspection for 3 years has been introduced.
- Amendments in existing laws/rules new legislation for inspection are being made.
- CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2005
- Provincial Assembly has passed the Consumer Protection Act 2005, Consumer Courts and Consumer Councils have been established in various district of Punjab.
